Unit 731, in case you haven’t heard, was a human experiment facility situated in the Pingfang region of China (now Japan) during 1935 to 1945.
The facility had a number of prisoners of war, which were subjected to some of the most humiliating medical experiments, the history has ever known. These included injecting air into veins, burying them alive, operation without anesthesia, and other inhumane activities.
The project was led by Shiro Ishii who used to ask the members of the facility,
“How many logs fell?”
Where logs referred to the human experiments.
R.I.P all those who lost their lives in Unit 731.
